Soon on week "Down under"

yeah..well my friends...tomorrow I have been down here for one week... thats not bad..hehe...like Vegar said...well then its only 103 left...hehe..

So...yeah, we haven't found a place to live yet...but we have been attending viewings though. yes we have...at least one!

And yeah, yesterday was Australia Day...that's Australia national day... quite different than the norwegian one..hehe...it seems that a bbq and some alcohol is all thats needed...hehe....none of that marching stuff..hehe.....but they have fireworks at 19 o'clock thoug..that we don't have...hehe

so yeah..I don't have much more to tell right now...and btw I'm sorry that I haven't uploaded any pictures yet...the reason is that I'm sitting on a public computer and don't have enough access to upload the pics that I have.....But soon.....I promise...

Arrived in Brisbane

Yeah.... I'm finally here.


I don't really know what to write at this moment but I can tell you that its f***ing hot down here.
So now its time for Vegar and I to look for an apartment...so that we can get settled in and start our life down here...

The start of a new chapter in the world of Lars

Well...this is my blog. I`m not quite sure how to start this blog though. Right now im sitting at home all packed and ready to go to Brisbane. I should also mention that i live in a little place called Skarnes in Norway....on the other side of the world from Brisbane...and why do I move so far from home? The answer is school....yeah....thats right....I move across the world for school.
That is also the main reason for writing this blog in english....and yeah..my written english might be faulty..but I will amagine that it will get better with time..hehe...yeah, back to why i write in my second language. It is mostly for my new friends i hope I get in my new home town... I think they also should have a chance to read my blog....

and perhaps also have a another reason to tease me for my bad english.. hehe ;)

But the main reason for writing this blog is for my friends and family back home to know what im doing "down under" hehe:)
Its alot easier than writing mails to everyone...hehehe....

Sooo.....maybe its time to tell a bit about my self....for those who are reading and do not know who I am..
Well.....at this moment in time im 25 years old. eh...yeah...my name is Lars...of course...its quite obvious really...since the blog name is "the world of lars" hehe =)

Yeah.....Im going to Brisbane to attend Griffith University, and get a degree in photograpy...a bachelor of photography to be specific.

I have plans to be the most awesome photographer in the world:) ehhe...you got to have high hopes right? yeah..... :)

soo...yeah...im not gonna post my "advanced" pictures here in this blog... But you can see them at www.aurland.webs.com for now....that is my temporary portfolio site.... I have no need for a advanced site at this time... yeah I use a lot of dots....... its a bad habit that I have not been able to get rid of yet... hehe:)

but in this blog I will post pictures of my everyday life in Brisbane....so my folks back home can get an idea of what life is like for me down there....

wow...this ended up as a veeeeeery long intro..heh....not too much BS I hope... in time there will be more interesting material too read.....I hope:) hehe

Well...I think its time to end this and go to bed...for in about twelve hours im going to the airport to begin my journey for the amazing country of Australia and the town called Brisbane...
